Emzee FC Kick Off Liga Suparimau Season B Against TSSX Academy and TID FA
Our U12s face TSSX Academy at 8:00 am before the U8s take on TID FA at 10:00 am at Marlborough College on Sunday, 13 September 2026.
A new season begins tomorrow for Emzee Football Club, with our U12 and U8 teams stepping onto the pitch for their opening Liga Suparimau Season B fixtures.
There is plenty to look forward to: two matches, fresh challenges and the opportunity for our young players to put their training into practice. For families and supporters, it is also a chance to come together and help create a positive start to the season.

U12 Face a Strong Opening Challenge at the Liga Suparimau season B
Our U12 team will get the morning underway against a very good TSSX Academy side.
It is an opening fixture that gives our players an opportunity to test themselves, work together and respond to the demands of competitive football. Finding passing options, communicating clearly and helping the player in possession will all be important.
Football offers opportunities to contribute even without touching the ball. A supporting run can give a teammate an outlet. Movement after a pass can open space. Encouragement after a mistake can help someone stay involved and ready for the next moment.
Against strong opposition, those contributions matter. The challenge for our U12s is to approach the
match with concentration, courage and a willingness to keep learning.
U8 Ready for Their Turn Against TID FA
At 10:00 am, attention turns to Pitch 1, where our U8 team will face TID FA.
For our youngest competitors, the opening game offers the excitement of playing together in a new season. There will be opportunities to try skills, make decisions and discover more about being part of a team.
We want our players to feel confident asking for the ball, helping each other and trying again when an action does not go as planned. Every match offers something to learn, and every child should feel supported through that experience.
From a brave attempt to win the ball to a thoughtful pass to a teammate, there will be plenty for the Emzee family to applaud.
Inspired by Our U16 Champions
Our U12 and U8 teams begin their campaigns following a proud achievement for the club: the U16 team’s Liga Suparimau Season A championship in June.
That success gives our younger players older teammates to look up to as they build their own football experiences. Each age group has its own journey, and tomorrow is another step for these two squads.
Meanwhile, our U16 champions await the Season B winners for a playoff to decide who will represent Johor at the Liga Suparimau U16 National Finals later this year.
Let’s Make the Sidelines Part of a Positive Start
Parents and supporters have an important role to play tomorrow. Encourage the players, recognise effort and teamwork, and show respect to opponents and match officials.
Let the coaches provide instructions and give the children space to make decisions. When mistakes happen, a calm, supportive response helps players turn their attention to the next action.
Families should check their team’s meeting instructions and allow enough time to reach the correct pitch before kickoff.
