Terms and Conditions of Emzee Football Club

The following Terms and Conditions govern membership, participation, and conduct within EMZEE Football Club ("the Club"). By registering a player with the Club, parents/guardians and players acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

1. Registration and Membership Fees

1.1 Registration Fees

All registrations must be accompanied by the applicable registration fee and the first month's training fee. Registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Refunds will only be considered under exceptional circumstances and solely at the discretion of EMZEE Football Club Management.

1.2 Payment Methods

Payments may be made via:

  • Bank Transfer

  • Credit/Debit Card

  • Approved Electronic Payment Methods

  • Cash (where permitted)

The Club reserves the right to modify accepted payment methods at any time.

 

2. Official Club Uniform

All registered players are required to purchase and wear the official EMZEE Football Club training and match kit during all club activities, including training sessions, matches, tournaments, and official events.

Failure to comply may result in the player being excluded from participation until the appropriate attire is worn.

 

3. Health, Medical Declaration and Safety

3.1 Medical Disclosure

Parents/guardians are required to disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, disabilities, or health concerns that may affect a player's participation.

The Club reserves the right to request medical clearance from a qualified healthcare professional before allowing participation.

 

3.2 Injuries and Emergencies

The Club will provide basic first aid where appropriate.

In the event of a serious injury or medical emergency, the Club reserves the right to seek emergency medical treatment on behalf of the player while attempting to contact the parent/guardian immediately.

Any medical costs incurred shall remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

 

4. Liability and Insurance

4.1 Assumption of Risk

Participation in football and sporting activities carries inherent risks of injury.

By registering with EMZEE Football Club, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that participation is entirely at their own risk.

4.2 Release of Liability

EMZEE Football Club, its directors, coaches, staff, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, theft, or claim arising from participation in club activities except where required by law.

 

4.3 Personal Insurance

Parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable personal accident and medical insurance coverage for their child.

 

5. Parent and Spectator Conduct

EMZEE Football Club maintains a strict Respect Policy.

Parents, guardians, family members, and spectators shall:

  • Refrain from coaching players from the sidelines.

  • Refrain from interfering with training sessions or matches.

  • Respect all coaches, referees, officials, players, and volunteers.

  • Avoid confrontational, abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour.

The Club reserves the right to remove any individual from the training or match venue and may suspend or terminate membership where necessary.

 

6. Player Conduct and Responsibilities

6.1 Behaviour and Respect

All players are expected to demonstrate:

  • Respect toward coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and parents.

  • Good sportsmanship at all times.

  • Discipline, commitment, and professionalism.

The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:

  • Bullying

  • Harassment

  • Discrimination

  • Fighting

  • Verbal abuse

  • Threatening behaviour

  • Vandalism

 

6.2 Equipment and Dress Code

Players must attend training and matches with:

  • Appropriate football attire

  • Football boots

  • Shin guards

  • Water bottle

  • Any additional equipment requested by coaches

Players who arrive without mandatory safety equipment may not be permitted to participate.

 

7. Match Selection Policy

Selection for matches, tournaments, tours, representative squads, and special events shall remain solely at the discretion of the coaching staff.

Selection decisions may be based on:

  • Attendance

  • Commitment

  • Attitude

  • Discipline

  • Effort

  • Performance

  • Tactical requirements

  • Team balance

All coaching decisions are final.

Parents and players shall not challenge, pressure, intimidate, or publicly criticize coaching selections.

 

8. Disciplinary Procedures

EMZEE Football Club reserves the right to impose disciplinary measures including:

  • Verbal Warning

  • Written Warning

  • Suspension

  • Removal from specific activities

  • Termination of Membership

  • Referral to relevant authorities where necessary

No refund shall be provided following disciplinary suspension or expulsion.

 

9. Attendance and Make-Up Policy

9.1 Eligible Make-Up Sessions

Make-up sessions may only be considered for:

  • Injury or illness supported by documentation

  • School examinations with prior notification

  • Club-initiated cancellations

  • Exceptional circumstances approved by management

 

9.2 Non-Eligible Absences

No make-up sessions shall be provided for:

  • Family holidays

  • Travel commitments

  • Personal engagements

  • Social events

  • Public holidays

  • Voluntary non-attendance

The Club's decision regarding make-up sessions shall be final.

 

10. Monthly Fee Commitment

10.1 Payment Due Date

Monthly training fees must be paid on or before the 5th day of each calendar month.

 

10.2 Late Payments

Failure to make payment by the due date may result in:

  • Suspension from training

  • Suspension from matches

  • Loss of membership privileges

  • Removal from club records

 

10.3 Membership Cancellation Due to Non-Payment

Where fees remain unpaid for a month, membership shall be deemed voluntarily terminated.

Players wishing to return must complete a new registration process and pay all applicable registration fees.

 

10.4 Package Changes

Any request to upgrade or downgrade a training package shall incur an administrative fee of RM100 per change.

Members may request a maximum of two (2) package changes during any membership period.

 

11. Attendance and Punctuality

Players are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Repeated lateness or poor attendance may affect:

  • Player development opportunities

  • Squad selection

  • Tournament participation

  • Team placement

Parents must notify the Club at least eight (8) hours in advance where attendance is not possible.

12. Safe Environment Policy

EMZEE Football Club operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards:

  • Smoking

  • Alcohol consumption

  • Illegal drugs

  • Vaping

  • Dangerous conduct

Such activities are prohibited within and around all training and event venues.

Violators may be immediately removed and permanently banned from club activities.

 

13. Security and Legal Matters

Any person who:

  • Engages in physical violence

  • Makes threats

  • Causes disturbances

  • Harasses staff, coaches, players, or parents

  • Damages property

may be reported to the relevant authorities without prior warning.

The Club reserves all legal rights available under Malaysian law.

 

14. Public Holidays and Club Closures

The Club observes national and state public holidays.

Training sessions and matches may be suspended during such periods.

No replacement or make-up sessions shall be provided for public holiday closures unless otherwise determined by Club Management.

 

15. Player Assessments

Players may be required to participate in periodic assessments throughout the season.

Assessments assist coaches in evaluating:

  • Technical development

  • Tactical understanding

  • Physical progression

  • Mental and character development

Assessment outcomes may influence squad placement and progression opportunities.

 

16. Photography, Media and Marketing Consent

By registering with EMZEE Football Club, parents/guardians grant permission for photographs, videos, recordings, and media content featuring their child to be used for:

  • Club promotions

  • Social media

  • Website content

  • Marketing materials

  • Sponsorship presentations

  • Press releases

No compensation shall be payable for such use.

Parents wishing to opt out must submit a written request to Club Management.

 

17. Data Protection and Privacy

EMZEE Football Club is committed to safeguarding personal information.

Personal data collected shall only be used for:

  • Registration purposes

  • Membership administration

  • Communication

  • Club operations

  • Emergency contact requirements

The Club will handle personal information in accordance with applicable Malaysian data protection laws.

 

18. Acceptance of Terms

Submission of a registration form and payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

EMZEE Football Club reserves the right to amend, update, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Continued participation in Club activities shall constitute acceptance of any revised Terms and Conditions.
