EMZEE Football Club's Under-16 team were crowned Liga Suparimau champions today after a thrilling 2-1 victory against a highly talented TCP Academy side.
Heading into the final match of the season, everything was on the line. The young EMZEE FC players rose to the occasion, displaying courage, determination, and exceptional football to secure all three points and finish the campaign as league champions with 15 points, five points clear of the second-placed team.
The match was a true battle between two quality teams. EMZEE FC took the lead after sustained attacking pressure forced a TCP Academy defender to turn the ball into his own net. The move was brilliantly orchestrated by Muhammad Harith Syahmi Bin Rahmat, whose creativity, vision, and attacking threat caused problems for the opposition throughout the match.
TCP Academy fought back and found an equalizer, setting up a tense finale. However, with only minutes remaining before the final whistle, Muhammad Darwisy Hariz Bin Mohd Solihin produced the decisive moment of the season, scoring the winning goal to send the EMZEE FC players, coaches, and supporters into celebration.
