EMZEE Football Club to Establish New Girls Football Team for Players Aged 12–19
A new opportunity for young girls footballers in Johor — with up to 90% scholarship support available for talented players from the B40 community.
At EMZEE Football Club, we believe that talent should be given an opportunity to grow — regardless of gender, nationality or financial background.
As part of the next stage of our youth development programme, EMZEE Football Club is proud to announce plans to establish a dedicated Girls’ Football Team for players between the ages of 12 and 19.
We are now inviting young female footballers across Johor Bahru, Iskandar Puteri and surrounding areas to register their interest and attend the trial session.
The programme is open to both Malaysian and international players.
We Want to Build Something, Not Simply Recruit Players
Our aim is bigger than putting together a group of girls for occasional matches.
We want to establish a genuine football environment where female players can train consistently, develop technically and tactically, compete in matches and tournaments, build confidence and become part of a team with long-term ambitions.
We want the first group of players joining this programme to become the foundation of EMZEE FC's girls’ football development pathway.
As the programme develops, our objective is to provide players with competitive opportunities and exposure while creating an environment in which talented girls can take their football seriously.
Who Are We Looking For?
We welcome players in all positions — from goalkeeper to striker.
Goalkeepers, centre-backs, full-backs, midfielders, wingers and strikers are all encouraged to register.
Players should be between 12 and 19 years old, have at least an intermediate level of football ability, and demonstrate seriousness, discipline and a genuine commitment to regular training.
Selection will not be based on talent alone.
We are looking for girls who are willing to learn, compete, listen to their coaches, support their teammates and consistently work towards becoming better footballers.
Up to 90% Scholarship for Talented B40 Girls
One of the most important objectives behind this programme is making football development accessible to talented young players who may otherwise struggle to afford regular academy training.
For this reason, EMZEE Football Club is offering scholarships of up to 90% for eligible and talented female players from the B40 community.
Scholarship places will be subject to player assessment and consideration of the player's ability, potential, attitude, discipline and commitment to the programme.
We strongly believe that a family's financial situation should not automatically determine how far a talented young footballer can pursue her potential.
Local and International Players Are Welcome
Football has no nationality.
Our new girls’ programme welcomes Malaysians, expatriates and other international players living in Malaysia.
EMZEE FC believes that bringing players from different backgrounds together creates a stronger learning environment — both on and off the football pitch.
More Than Just Joining a Team
For the right players, this is an opportunity to become part of something from its beginning.
We want to develop a competitive girls’ team that can represent EMZEE Football Club in matches, leagues, tournaments and other suitable football opportunities as the programme grows.
But development will remain at the centre of everything we do.
Players will be encouraged to improve their technical ability, tactical understanding, physical development, confidence, discipline, leadership and understanding of the game.
