Cristiano Ronaldo and Dybala caught on camera blaming Juventus' midfield for Champions League defeat

Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala were filmed slamming Juventus' midfielders during the club's Champions League last-16 defeat against Lyon.

The Turin giants' duo were caught on camera at half-time and could be overheard bemoaning a lack of support during another underwhelming display.

RMC Sport released the video, which was taken in the tunnel and featured the five-time Balon d'Or winner's complaints - but Juventus still failed to record a single attempt on target after the interval.

Maurizio Sarri launched an extraordinary attack on his team after they slumped to the first-leg loss, with pressure mounting on the club to bring an end to their 24-year wait to lift the coveted trophy.

Lucas Tousart fired Lyon into the lead to capitalise on a desperately poor first-half from the Serie A champions, leaving the two Juventus stars to vent their frustrations in Spanish at the break.

'We are left alone out there, the midfielders are giving us no support,' Ronaldo grumbled to team-mate Dybala.

The former Palermo ace added: 'Nobody is getting the ball.'

And Ronaldo fired back, saying: 'I know, not even the second balls, nothing.'

Juventus slipped into second in the Serie A standings after Lazio's victory against Bologna on Saturday, with reports from Italy now suggesting that under-fire boss Sarri is nearing 'the point of no return'.

The irate ex-Chelsea coach complained after their European setback in France that he was struggling to make his charges understand 'the importance of moving the ball quickly.'

His comments are believed to have surprised senior figures Fabio Paratici, Pavel Nedved and Andrea Agnelli - and other reports state that Juventus' players are failing to grasp Sarri's methods.

According to La Repubblica, the hierarchy could make the sensational decision to replace Sarri with former manager Massimiliano Allegri, who was sacked at the end of last campaign.
